My passion for salsa has finally paid off...so to speak :) Of all the places I have danced - Dallas, Seattle, DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Puerto Rico, Paris (the actual Paris, not Paris, TX)...who would have thought I would find salsa dancing in Iowa? Surprise, surprise.
I've been going to Warehouse Club in Des Moines, for the last 3 weeks, each Tuesday, religiously for a dose of salsa. Last night was their Halloween party - I was either too cool or not cool enough to wear a costume :) To my surprise there was a photographer from a local newspaper - doing what else, but taking photos. Well, apparently I made the cut - and my photo did appear in the on-line version of the paper today.
This guy is one of my favorite dancers.

This is so incredibly exciting!!! Too bad my visit will not include a night of dancing...maybe over the weekend?
